Review of Grhymers presents Chase & Status + MC Rage - Birmingham
I was really excited to see chase and status again but I thought their set was a bit of a let down. The bass was crap, the atmosphere wasn't great as half the people there were just standing around and gave you funny looks for dancing.

Review of GLAS NYD ft. Craig David\'s TS5
Arrived at the venue 5.45pm.
Queue led right down the road, around the corner, and then around another corner (very long Q basically). Whilst in the Q one of the security staff fairly insensitively said 'shoulda got here earlier' to a girl; who had been standing there for over an hour. Probably not the wisest thing to say considering the circumstances.
Anyway, got to the door around 7.15pm. At the door, the process of actually entering the venue was very quick, which made me wonder why the queue took so long.
The venue itself had a good layout and although the concert hall itself, the stage set up etc was great; it took way too long to get served at the bars. The drinks prices were sound enough though, can't complain on that. The clockroom was efficient to be fair too.
All of the security staff I spoke to & encountered were also really sound & informative, so that was cool.
I only listened to the end of SKT (owing to the Q and waiting for drink times), all of Craig David, and SHY FX. Music was obviously awesome, the sound was great too, filled the hall well.
I'm hoping there will be some good footage of the event released, as I saw the camera drone flying around the hall.
I'd recommend some heavy duty ceiling fans for cooling people down, hiring more bar staff and toilet attendants, and of course address the Queue issue. There really seemed to be no reason it took so long to get in.

Review of GLAS NYD ft. Craig David\'s TS5
Great event. Craig David was brill as were shy fx. Queuing to get in was quite long but enough warning given out about getting there early. Venue is great for raving. Set times were given out before hand so knew when everyone was on. It did need more bar staff but we just double up on orders.

Review of GLAS NYD ft. Craig David\'s TS5
Venue was difficult to navigate round, ended up missing the opening of Craig Daivd as we couldn't find the room and also weren't made aware when his set was starting. Over crowded and too much base, couldn't hear vocals.
