Review of Dumpling Festival
Was there for an hour, didn't manage to buy a single dumpling as they'd all sold out :(
Felt very sore having paid entry fee and a booking fee (!) for the privilege of sitting on a bench and having two drinks.
Ended up leaving and going to Chinatown where the dumplings were lovely.

Review of Dumpling Festival
This was appalling. It cost £10 to get in, to which we were treated to a handful of stalls - all of 5 savory and 2 sweet. Of the savory stalls, one sold donuts! Two of the stalls had no dumplings to sell (sold out at 2pm). The rest of them had huge queues that didn't move. I queued 15 minutes in the vegetarian stall and they served 2 customers in that time - I worked out it would be an hour before I was served.
The music was stupidly loud, especially for an event we had been told was family friendly - it was like being in a nightclub. There was also a photographer going around repeatedly taking everyone's photo, which no-one was asked permission for.
The only drinks were Peroni or Red Stripe (yes, really).
I ended up buying a donut then leaving. I would have demanded my money back. I will never, ever go to an event by this company again. Shambolic.

Review of Dumpling Festival
With a £7 entry fee we were anticipating a good bar set up, traders who didn’t run out of food and reasonable prices. £5 for a can or red stripe is extortionate, the prices amongst the traders also varied a lot.
