Review of 101 Nightclub Birmingham
Boycott this racist club! Myself and a few friends travelled to Birmingham from London on the weekend to go to this club and were refused entry. When we questioned the bouncers as to why we couldn't come in, they stated that they had reached capacity, but the club had only been open for 45 minutes!?
When we questioned how they could be at capacity already, they then gave us an excuse about buying tables, we offered to purchase a table and was told that all the tables had been sold out. All the while this is happening, promoters are walking up and down the queue, pulling out groups of white females and males, and refusing entry to all other ethnic groups in the line.
The bouncers then told us to leave the line so other people could get in, which was puzzling as they had told my group of Black British friends were just told that the club was at capacity. It was a mix reception from the bouncers, some assured us that we would get in if we stuck it out whereas others flat out told us the decisions as to who gets in isn't up to them and we should try other places. Not one bouncer told us that we were in violation of their dress code.
A few other ethnic minority locals got refused entry and told us that the club does discriminate due to race depending on the night, that Friday's it's fine for diversity but Saturday is mainly for white party goers. The fact that this was said so casually to me truly disturbed me, I by no means doubt that racism takes place in London, but not blatant racism to this degree. I reported this incident to the Equality Advisory and Support Service and I hope some justice comes out of it! in this day and age discrimination in any form should not be tolerated or accepted!

Review of RUSS(Gun lean) Live PA at 101 Night Club
Bought a ticket and couldn’t get in because people that bought at the door took the spaces of ticket holders. What is the point in a ticket if you ain’t guaranteed entry. Never again and I demand my refund
