Review of Tribute Festival
Such a washout but fair play to all who attended! We were soaked and no shelter anywhere near venue and no umbrella ☔ allowed! Cruel! Music was good and bands tried to keep spirits up despite the heavy rain!

Review of Tribute Festival
myself and 2 friends went to the Tribute Festival last night in Ebrington Square. was so looking forward to a special event. unfortunately the heavens opened and we were absolutely drenched as were many others. no umbrellas allowed!!!!! We had to leave and come home just as the second act of Jersey Boys
came on stage (My absolute favourites) around 7pm. They looked and sounded amazing and we were so very disappointed. Really hope the Tribute Festival comes back soon to our area . Will be the first in line to get tickets. we appreciate it cudn be helped . looking forward to sharing the experience anothe time.....

Review of Tribute Festival
The event was advertised to be between 5pm and 11pm however The live music started late at 6.15pm. Derry is one of the top ten wettest city in Europe and the open air venue had no protection for customers from the rain. They only had tents for drinks and at the entrance to search customers. Customers wise enough to bring umbrellas where not trusted with them and had to leave them at the search area. There was terrible rain and as I and sister got completely soaked through with coats on we had to leave the venue very early. The music that we heard was good but the conditions and organisation was dreadful. The organisers are not responsible for the rain but they are responsible for not reading the forecast and planning accordingly. Let alone the derry journal article written by Brendan Mc Daid Thursday 7/10/2021 1.12pm about Derry being named the wettest place in the Uk. If they had taken rain protection related precautions to help customers stay dry the event would have been a success instead of being a huge disappointment.
