Congrats on the first Bath comicon. Amazing guest who had all the time in the world to talk to our kids!! Please can you get more Harry Potter and Power Rangers and Marvel they would be awesome guests!
A bigger venue and better ticket checking for early bird entry is a must. Like they do in other comicons, have some one police the cue and check who has paid for the early entry and get them in, after all its what they have paid for.
We had a fab time even if it was manic! Good luck with next year and keep us posted!!

There wasn’t a single moment where I felt there was nothing to do. There was a tremendous variety of stalls with incredible merchandise and I was very happy with what I took home with me. The guests were all very welcoming and willing to chat. One thing I would hope to see next time is more places for people to sit other than the canteen because me and my Mum did feel tired after standing up for a while. One thing I know that other Comic Cons tend to have is a group of Q&A sessions with the various guests. They allow everyone to ask whatever questions they want and I think it really would help make the day go faster for some people.

Good fun but having to wait in a long cue was no joke and this could've been better organised, likewise the cue in the canteen, the staff there were busy and friendly but the food was like something from the 1970s. The hall was crowded which you'd expect, maybe they should have asked people to park their buggy s before going into the hall, it could be a health and safety issue. Having said all that my 11yr son and friend loved it. I did too. A fun and pleasant atmosphere and stalls were varied and prices were good, from £1.00 bargains to +130pounds for specialist items such as crafted swords which looked very good. Yeah it was worth going. Better organisation and better cafe next time though. B

My first convention experience, I attended on my own. I had a great time met some nice people, both special guests and other attendees. Only problem, venue was a bit small compared to the number of attendees, but that is excusable for a first event.
Did I enjoy myself? Yes. Would I recommend? - I already have, by telling friends via Facebook.
Same time next year please!

Great event. My only problem was that I bought tickets before the event expecting to go straight in, but we had to queue for half an hour. Which in yesterday's freezing conditions, was not ideal, especially with 2 children. The security guard on the door 'Mr Big I Am'. Didn't help matters. Then when he let a family in with their bought before tickets without having to queue, then that annoyed me. But otherwise it was a good event!

It had the potential to be great but unfortunately there were just too many people there and no room to even move. There wasn't a lot to do, they needed more interactive stuff and the interactive stuff that was there you couldn't really get close to and couldn't queue as there was just not room. Purchased early bird tickets but it took an hour to get in. We only stayed just over an hour as my friend had a buggy and there just wasn't room to get around. Hopefully with some tweaking could be good if they do it again. Sorry, to be negative, did have high hopes for this.

It was a great event, a first for Bath! It was unreal meeting Colin Baker and seeing John Altman as soon as I walked in the entrance. There was something for all ages there. Entrance fee was also good value.

it was our first time at a comic con event, we didn't know what to expect, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, definitely recommend the early bird tickets as its not quite so packed then and you have some room to move about and to see what is being sold on the stalls, also, the queues for things aren't so long either. We both had a fantastic time and would most definitely recommend the event to anyone and everyone :-) The parking was a dream, it was across the road from the event and the price for parking was reasonable too especially for Bath. 10/10

Thoroughly enjoyed the event. Very busy inside in the morning but as readmission was allowed I chose to go out for lunch and come back in the afternoon which was much quieter. Even the guests were more relaxed and we're happy just to chat. Would definitely go again and hoping it could be in warmer times for good outdoor photo ops with costumed characters. Thank you for a fab day.

I think for a first attempt it should be used as a basis to learn from. I would suggest a reduction in Earlybird ticket sales. Possibly by half as this venue was far to small for the amount sold! There were definitely to many people with early birds & some had to wait outside in the queue for 1.5/2 hrs. I also suggest more free events inside - Maybe basic sketching technique workshops - Colouring in table areas for children - superhero photos opportunities for children???
Possibly a few prize draws with entry prices relevant to prizes etc.
Happy children = happy parents = more likely to return with more patience & spending money next event

The venue was a little small and it seemed the amount of attendees warranted a larger venue, but it was a good little convention for the first time in Bath. The community definitely would welcome more in future. Maybe consider asking the Universities if this can be held on campus and utilities multiple buildings for guests, vendors etc. like they do with Wales Comic Con in Wrexham.
