What's that; three month heatwave? Sunshine let me bask in your ever glowing brilliance... if you ever turn up. Either way there's much to get excited about on the events tip.

Festivals

Glastonbury 2015 is ready; boy does it look good. Also getting in on the line up announcement act are The Social Festival adding Richie Hawtin, Camden Rocks with Funeral for a Friend and a brand new festival in Scotland with Groove Armada - Groove Loch Ness.

We picked out five of the best acts at EDC, grabbed some top tips on Tisno from Suncebeat's Gavin Kendrick and looked at all the essential info you need if you've never been to Camp Bestival.

Clubs

We've got a new feature, where you vote your favourite clubs. First up is Manchester - see the results here. Also in the city Red Bull are bringing a fair few this weekend, while down the road Tale of Us will soon make their Liverpool debut, with Carl Cox heading back there a little sooner for Circus (listen to him play back to back with Circus from there in April 2011 below).

Egg London have a lot on for their twelfth birthday, Audio Brighton has relaunched as Patterns and we've got two new killer mixes as well, courtesy of Illyus & Barrientos and Tronik Youth.

Live Music

We caught up with the delightful Boxed in, revisited a few of the live music superstars that cut their teeth at The Great Escape and had a look at hip hop star Tyga's upcoming UK shows. We've also been out and about, catching Toro Y Moi live.

I'm bouncing for the time being... see you on the seven day flip side.
