They rehearse in public, the drummer has been known to use wooden kitchen spoons, and the piano stand really is an old ironing board.
While the boys are all individually experienced, 'The Exceptionals' only became a band in June 2015 before making their full gigging debut at Festival Number 6 in Portmerion in early September. The world famous Hardrock then invited the band to be one of the fifteen featured bands to help celebrate their Manchester Cafés fifteenth anniversary alongside other bands including 'The Feeling' and 'Northern Uproar'.
In November 2015 The Exceptional Remarkables were invited to perform at the closing party for the World Rally Championships in Wales while more recent rumours have linked a number of the band's songs to the newly commissioned series of Cold Feet which is currently being filmed (the boys are refusing to confirm nor deny any involvement).
Despite harbouring a questionable belief that "Rehearsals are for Wimps" audiences are never disappointed because these guys do exactly what it says on the tin with a fine portfolio of well crafted acoustic blues rock original's to prove it and "even when we're shit, were brilliant" - So Ave It........
