The Cuban Brothers
“Seventies cop show meets Cheech and Chong”, has a slurp at describing the ever popular Cuban Brothers.  Pack your cigars and fedora’s and enjoy this funky fusion of soulful tunes and mentalist comedy.

Sham 69
The Cockney cowboys hailing from Hersham lacked the “art school” cred of many other punk acts in the late seventies.  The Shams however were familiar with what was really going on in the streets and the terraces.  “Borstal Breakout” and “The Kids are United” are as anthemic as anything produced by the Clash and The Sex Pistols. Old school certainly expect vintage Oi and Punk from a decade when widgets and blogs were a future nerds dream.

Damien Dempsey
Dublin singer songwriter Damien Dempsey is recognised as one of the finest voices from our neighbouring Republic. Tours with Sinead O’Connor, Morrisey and Bob Dylan have introduced him to a wider audience. Double winner of the prestigious Irish Meteor Awards, Damien offers another vibe to the eclectic Wickerman line-up.

The Red Hot Chilli Pipers

Jock and roll from possibly the most famous pipe band in the world will put a skirl into any audience, more so the Wickerman crowd who are hardly the most shy and retiring of people to start with.  Pipes, drums and rock music have ensured a Chilli Piper presence at many major events. Fans of The Darkness and Harry Potter will already be familiar with the piping ability of the Chilli’s.  More “Hey Dude” than “Hoots Man”, the Chilli’s make a seamless weld between traditional and contemporary music.
