Circus returns to The Masque for one last night, to give the famed venue the send off it so rightly deserves with a line-up of old Circus favourites and new talent.

Following a rather hasty closure at the end of 2011, The Masque will open its doors once more to the night, for one final blow out of suitably epic proportions featuring Circus regular Steve Lawler and of course, the man behind it all, Yousef. Joining these Circus stalwarts will be Visionquest's Shaun Reeves and Bristol's Eats Everything, both making their Circus debuts on February 25th.

After this final party at The Masque, Circus will make the permanent move to The Camp and Furnace warehouse space on Greenland Street.

The rumour-mill has been in overdrive since the tail end of 2011 saw the famed Masque venue close its hallowed doors, with Circus and Chibuku moving over to the Camp and Furnace. Circus’ Boxing Day session was an immense success, yet Circus revellers were left without the chance to say a proper farewell to the hallowed venue that has provided the backdrop to so many memories over the years.

So it's with great excitement that we can look forward to the doors opening for Circus one more time at The Masque.

On Saturday 25th February the club will sign off its tenure here for a final show of epic proportions. And as well as the special guests above, Circus is asking its friends to come and drop some beats too – so there might be an extra surprise on the night.

Yousef is the man who defines every facet of Circus’ enduring ethos, and he will conclude the night with the closing set in the venue’s legendary Theatre space. 2012 has started in blistering fashion for Yousef, recording a simply stunning mix at the final Store St WHP on NYD which has become an online sensation in recent weeks. With new releases on Cecille and Intec, currently touring South and Central America as well as his relentless pounding of Europe’s best clubs, a 2nd artist album now completed (label tbc), this year is set to be even bigger for Yousef. Even with all of his global travelling, nowhere else quite brings out the best in him like it does at Circus, encapsulating the club’s varied sonic template with his final Theatre set which starts at 2.30am. This simply cannot be missed.

Steve Lawler returns to Circus for another one of his superlative DJ sets. The man needs little introduction; since his explosion on the UK clubbing scene as Cream resident in the late nineties, Lawler has left an indelible mark on global electronica. His stunning Lights Out and Nubreed compilations for Global Underground, epic marathon Miami sessions and of course the indomitable title of ‘King of Space’ was gifted to him by the Ibiza’s clued-up natives; they all add up to his enduring standing. He’s a DJ that has been down with Circus since day one and he once again plays at what will undoubtedly be a storming closing Masque showcase as Circus enters its 10th anniversary year with considerable verve.

Even on their last event at The Masque there is little time to reflect on the past, for Circus is always striving forward with two debuts on Sat 25th Feb. The first debut comes in the shape of Visionquest talisman Shaun Reeves, the only member of the DJing quartet not to play back in October. Much like the vaunted troupe he belongs too, Shaun’s sound his one built on funk laden tech grooves and edgy, atmospheric breakdowns, a pulsating and sashaying blend of classic house and song drenched hooks. Shaun and VQ were pretty much the sound of 2011; 2012 looks set to be an even stronger year for the crew and this is sure to be a tour de force performance from the Detroit native.

Eats Everything is the second debutant, the alias of Bristolian Daniel pierce showing his superlative house sound to Liverpool for the first time. His sample heavy house offerings have raided and paid homage to everyone from ray Charles to Randy Crawford, his sounds emanating from a diverse set of record labels which include Dirtybird, Futureboogie and Catz N Dogz.

Support drops in the shape Tom Flynn, who won Pete Tong’s Best Breakthrough Producer in 2010, and Circus’ own Lewis Boardman, who as one of the club’s esteemed residents gets to help bring the club’s illustrious era at The Masque to a fitting end.
