Having kicked off back in 2008, System. has enjoyed an epic journey in its clubland career. Working alongside the mighty Cocoon brand, they were instrumental in launching the formidable techno fest Cocoon In The Park, whilst its involvement with Mint Festival and Mint Warehouse have seen its reputation grow even further in the underground worlds of house and techno.
With six glorious years behind them, System. turns seven on February 7th. Taking place at resident hotspot Mint Club, the line up will see a mega set from Swiss minimal house and techno doyen Sonja Moonear. Her gift for matching the abstract with the incredibly groovy is a joy to behold, and no doubt why her productions have been championed by labels like Perlon and Karat. Her promo mix for Fabric (above) gives you an inkling as to the pure hypnotic brilliance the Ruta5 Records boss deploys.
London acid house head Quinn Whalley, AKA Paranoid London joins in on the birthday shenanigans as well. His jackin' lo fi sound is a guaranteed rabble rouser, with his his sleazy spoken word segments capping off his salacious, rough and ready vibe.
Fuse regular Rossko gets involved too, with residents Arrie Errez and Bobby O'Donnell rounding off the unmissable seventh birthday celebrations. Get your System. tickets here.
