Shovelling coins into the jukebox could become a thing of the past with a new app that's being developed down under.
crowdDJ, the app developed by Spotify and Nightlife Music, enables users to select their own tunes directly from their smartphone.
It will also give the option for users to download the venue's playlist directly to enhance their own spotify accounts. While the app is still only available across bars, gyms and bowling alleys, it is still unknown as to whether it will be launched in the UK.
