Secret Party project bring the Movida Corona DJ Uk Final to Manchester

The famed DJ competition ends in stunning fashion in the jaw-dropping surroundings of the UK’s second tallest church building.

DJ competitions have been bringing us the next wave of superstar talent for a long time. Muzik Magazine’s famed Bedroom Bedlam series sky-rocketed James Zabiela and Yousef into the clubbing consensus, whilst clubnights across the country have discovered residents off the strength of DJ competitions.

The Movida Corona DJ competition has been pioneering a global search for the hottest DJ talent for nearly a decade, also stretching to incorporae the finest in house music vocalists as well. The UK final is to be this year held on conjunction with Birmingham hedonists Secret Party Project, whose partying creating prowess has seen them transofmr a variety of weird and wonderful venues over their time.

They will be transforming the spectacular Monastery venue in East Manchester into a clubland cathedral - befitting what could be the next superstar of the dance, with the winner taking a giant step towards catapulting their career onto the international stage at Pacha’s closing party in Ibiza this summer.

Alongside the finalists there will be a performance from an artist already at the epicentre of the dance world, John Dahlback. The Swedish raconteur of rave has built up a fan-base on account of his brutally boisterous amalgamations of house and electro, and will be delivering the kind of speaker shattering set he has become synonymous with other the past few years. Expect one heck of a show.
