Rihanna is set to record a song with JLS.

The 'Umbrella' singer will team up with the 'Beat Again' hitmakers - Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Oritse Williams and Jonathan 'JB' Gill - for a track which will be masterminded by hip-hop guru Jay-Z.

Rihanna said: "Working with JLS is something that will happen this year. Jay will make stars out of them. He has been a great mentor to me. He has been around long enough to spot real talent and he knows who will become worldwide stars.

"They can sing, they can dance, they look good, actually they look very good. But more importantly, they look like a group. It doesn't look like they've been put together. It looks like they are meant to be together."

The 22-year-old pop beauty also believes Kanye West and Jay-Z's wife Beyonce Knowles will follow her lead by working with the band, who finished runners-up on the 2008 series of UK talent show 'The X Factor'.

She added to The Sun newspaper: "I will be working with them on one of their singles and am sure Kanye and Beyonce will collaborate with them on tracks as well.

"America has only had a little taste of them so far, but give it 18 months and they could be the most famous band in the world."
