After a long hiatus the Trash-O Rama run Clubsterben is back for some trouble, of the best possible sort, at Islington Mill this month and they have an incredible line up of DJs to keep you jacking all night along with a very special guest.
For your pleasure they have booked established and newer music selectors from the Manchester nightlife scene to work you into a rapture all through the night night til the crack of sparrowfart at 6 in the morning.
Trash-O-Rama themselves will start things off from early doors, undoubtedly playing some sleazy twisted discobilly to ease you all in to a false sense of security. Piano Bar tackle from the long lost Legends club this will not be, but it will be ace.
The Stretford Disco queen herself is up next. Juliet makes a rare appearance to give us an airing of her exemplary disco vinyl collection and reminding us why the warm up parties she used to organise and hold before Electric Chair are held in equal reverence. Expect dancing on tables and hands in the air when she spins the tunes!
Johnny and Liam from
Beat Boutique will be in the building playing their own inimitable selection of soul, house and everything inbetween. So busy are they with their popular night at the Soup Kitchen we are lucky to grab them to play a set at this soiree.
Ste Spandex will be playing a set of Manctalo tunes of the highest quality and undoubtedly (hopefully) will be road testing a few of his own creations out on the crowd. Expect piano house of the highest order as well as a possible drenching from this Wet Play maestro of good times.
Ruf Dug will be reminding us why he is fast becoming a, if not an already established, living legend among the current DJs in Manchester at the moment. Working relentlessly over recent years and releasing his own music on his
Ruf Kutz label to glowing reviews, expect to get your groove on til you can't boogie anymore.
The guest on this night of twisted hedonism will be none other than
Haules Baules, otherwise known as Logan Fisher. You will undoubtedly have danced to one or more of his audio creations in recent times, more than likely his edit of the Skatt Bros anthem
Walk The Night (played by the most notable of DJs to grin inducing effect) which has brought his name to prominence of late. Digging through his records and playing everything from slo-mo house, deep chug and throbbing acid with anything inbetween, this is a rare chance to catch a respected DJ and producer absolutely rip up the dancefloor in the best possible way.
All of this takes place at Islington Mill, James Street, Salford on Friday August 30th, from 11pm til 6am.
