Ace Manchester club brand Zutekh  bring Fabric legend Craig Richards to Sound Control for an extended set on Friday 4th March.

From their inception as a small midweek student party for their friends to the strong independent brand they are today, Zutekh have gone from strength to strength as they push the sounds of disco, house and techno through the best local and international DJ talent.

For this event, Fabric hero Craig Richards is joined in the industrial basement space of Sound Control by one of the freshest UK talents around, Subb-an and Manchester resident DJ, arnaldo.

Craig Richards is a curious creature. Staying loyal to his sound and crowd, as oppose to basking in the often short-lived spotlight of the global DJ circuit, he’s an understated and innovative breed of record player who has achieved world-wide recognition by staying in one place. The success of his work at Fabric is undeniable. A residency like no other, the night being built around Craig as opposed to the guests he invites, he’s managed to play week in, week out at the club for over eleven years whilst still DJing regularly around the world. His sound takes in everything from sparse, dubby house and deep electronics to off-kilter, late night electro and percussion-heavy techno.

In support of Craig Richards, Zutekh have drawn in an exclusive live act from one of the freshest UK talents around, Subb-an. The years of commitment in the studio have been turning heads to the skills of the Below resident, and 2011 is set to be the year that Subb-an comes into his own. At only 24 years old he has been carving his own unique take on house music, with productions released on Crosstown Rebels, 20:20 Vision, Spectral Sound, Culprit and BPitch as well as launching his own imprint One Records.

Rounding off the bill is Manchester resident DJ, arnaldo. Known by his friends as Will, he can be found supplying the local scene with vinyl from behind the counter at Easternbloc Records, and spinning some of the best underground electronic music at Soup Kitchen’s meandyou parties.
