Tuesday the 31st December will mark a very special occasion for London’s clubbing calendar. For the first time in well over a decade, the mighty Sasha will be headlining a New Years Eve Party in the capital. Set to play at the 5000 capacity o2 Academy in Brixton, the master of the DJing journey will be in full force to end 2013 in serious style.

Sasha has been one of the country’s leading DJs since the early nineties. His approach has always been to push the zeitgeist of dance music, trying new techniques and ideas out which rarely sees him put a foot wrong and constantly push the envelope of aural possibility.

Responsible for bringing luminaries like John Digweed into the limelight, Sasha's love for music and vigilance with new developments in sound has seen his style became ever more difficult to describe, he just manages to make that whatever he turns his hand to work, and then some.

The ensuing tour for the third installment of his celebrated Involver series has seen him develop live re-edits of his own material, as well as that of other artists, into an extraordinary live set that sees him manipulate music ranging from bass music to house and techno, all with a melodic presence that is perhaps Sasha’s signature sound.

He is rightly considered a DJing legend, boasting a huge international following partly down to his being perpetually at the forefront of marrying technological advances and forging new pathways that leaves fellow DJs scratching their heads. If you want anyone in charge of bringing in the new year in unforgettable fashion, you want Sasha, which is what makes us so excited about his arrival at o2 Brixton on December 31st.
