In keeping with tradition, Somerset’s Farmfestival prepare to throw one of their now legendary launch parties at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. After last year’s sell out celebration, anticipation is high for 2013’s Farmfestival taster. Raising money for BSA, The British Stammering Association in honour of one of the Farmfestival team members, the not only gives a flavour of what the festival will feel like, but raises money for a worthy cause in the process.

Some of the headliners at this year’s launch party will include none other than Mt. Wolf, CLASH magazine’s ‘One’s To Watch 2013’. The London based folk electronica quartet have been garnering a significant amount of praise for their unique approach of combining sublime vocals, cinematic soundscapes, and fractured electronics to create an ethereal dreamscape that is as luscious as it is intoxicating. A genuinely forward thinking and soulfully enriching band, their performance at Farmfestival’s London Launch will be a truly mesmerizing experience.

Joining them will be the ever impressive Babeshadow. The London duo will be giving a warmup teaser of what to expect from them ahead of their Farmfestival appearance. With new material and a new album waiting in the wings, this is a chance to see the childhood best mates showcasing their signature style - bright, cheerful and yet somehow melancholic harmonies with a laidback feel and a natural analogue sound.

Rounding off the line up will be The Standards in this their 8th year at Farmfestival, and new radio one favourites Thumpers.
