Preview: Beatnik presents Darius Syrossian

Last year finally saw the heralding in of what has become this year's hottest property in the discerning house music world. After winning audiences across the country and in particular Ibiza, Darius Syrossian was awarded the accolade of DJ mag’s Best British Breakthrough Producer Award. Having loyally toiled away for a huge 15 years at vinyl record shops such as Global Beat and Crash Records, it wasn’t until 2008 that Darius was spotted by Steve Lawler one fateful night at the now defunkt Sankeys Manchester. Darius handed Steve a couple of his productions, now five years, and the two are headlining all over the globe as part of Lawler's much celebrated VIVa Warriors nights, bringing the deeper, twisted sounds of true house music to the masses.

Darius recent work has seen him continue in 2012's rich vein of form with red hot output on Lost Records, Definition:Music and on scene leading Hot Creations alongside Hector Couto. His schedule is more filled than ever as hunger for his very own groove injected house sound has reached stellar proportions. 

Beatnik continue to impress with line up after line up of discerning bookings, of which Darius Syrossian is a major coup. An essential night for fans of true house.
