Local Band Ameira Make It Onto BBC Radio One Playlist

These guys played Party In The Pines this weekend along with some other great bands that took to the stage. But making it onto the BBC RADIO ONE introducing playlist is a fantastic achievement.

This is how former Scunthorpe born talent Skarlett Riot got noticed. So can we expect to see Ameira hitting up the BBC Intro stage next summer? Time will tell. But these boys are doing well. We received a comment from band member Josh Graham: ?Proud to announce officially that my band?s debut single ?we never close our eyes? will be BBC Radio One?s introducing track of the week from the 11th November. This is a huge deal for us! I want to say thank you to everyone who has supported us and can?t wait to hear the feedback(good and bad) from the exposure this is going to give our band. So, thanks everyone. I love you all!? If you haven?t already seen the video check it out and their single is available for download via itunes. BBC Introducing Humberside tweeted: BBCIntroHumberside ? ?Barton Upon Humber band @AmeiraMusic will be on the @BBCR1 playlist for a week from 11/11 with this awesome track!? They will also be headlining our last gig of 2013 at The Light Bar Scunthorpe. Tickets are available from Class six/The Light/ Acts and us. Well done boys!
