Listen back to Âme and Dixon's Essential Mix from the weekend

Still running strong, the Essential Mix series remains one of the most important places to hear DJs strutting their stuff, and this weekend launched the 'X Series'.

The first mix in the series saw collaborative effort between Innervisions founders Dixon and Âme, who have both taken on the Essential Mix before, Dixon in 2013 and Âme back in 2006, but this is the first time they have joined forces for the prestigious Radio 1 showcase.

The two hour b2b includes music from the likes of Diynamic's Stimming and Bicep's attention grabbing remix of Isaac Tichauer's 'Higher Level', which is out today (Monday 4th April) and you can listen to above. To hear the mix in full listen to it via the BBC.
