Herve Willems Joins The Padwell

There has been yet another leap forward at The Padwell , Stone Street Near Sevenoaks as celebrity Chef Herve "La Grenouille Willems has now taken up the challenge. Licensee Maria Gray said "we have been searching for the right peson for months, but to have found someone with Herve's resputation and pedigree is a massive coup. On his second full day a full restaurant gave him a spontaneous standing ovation. It's amazing"

With over two decades of experience in Europe's most prestigious eateries and having spent several years both training other Chef's and consulting Herve commented "it was time for me to return to the kitchen. I will let the food speak for me".

With previous incumbent Sam Coleman now under Willems' sage tutelage,The Padwell can promise an intriguing fusion of the best cuisine and the locally sourced food that was already making significant strides towards the restaurants reputation and popularity.

Herve commented ,"the managements initiative, sheer drive and enthusiasm to move the business forward and committment to great food won the day for me". Some of his creations are sure to offer an innovative take on what might usually be expected to be crafted from staple Kentish fare. This will enable the restaurant to still offer unmistakably local dishes,but now with occasional twists and flourishes as befits a chef of Herve's experience and flair.
