Over the past few years, the two members of HLD, Burkie & Aggz, Hailing from Birmingham & Bolton, have had great solo careers, but joining together to from Hott like Detroit (Current UK Djs/Producers) has seen a huge progression in underground house and are now getting serious recognition.

HLD started their career as most do, in an Old Skool Night club called Lost Lounge in the heart of Walsall, UK, Playing their first ever set on vinyl! Their music soon started to catch that garage fever!

Hot like Detroit productions have already had some huge players dropping their tracks for the likes of Mistajam, Shiba San, Amine Edge & Dance, Arun Verone, Sam Divine, Lowsteppa, Mark Radford Plus many more .......

Drawing productional inspiration and reference from the like of Steve Lawler, MK, wAFF, Dale Howard, Dusky, Breach, Dj Zinc, Shadow Child, Kidnap Kid their productions are really excelling out of the scene and are getting air plays on all the major radio stations including BBC Radio 1
