After grabbing the ‘Best Dance event’ award at last year’s UK Festivals Awards, Global Gathering is back with an even bigger bang this year as the main stage arena has undergone a huge revamp with production company 250k charged with the responsibility of bringing the theme of ‘Industrial Cubism’ to life.
Those performers benefitting from this injection of production power will be Plan B, Disclosure and Rudimental, all playing live on the Friday, with Example and Katy B the live performers on the Saturday, which will also feature DJ sets from Afrojack and Annie Mac.
The arena break-down has also been delivered, with 1Xtra, UKF Bass Culture, Digital and debutants Chibuku among the Friday inclusions, Global, Metropolis and Carl Cox and Friends among Saturday’s electronic bombast.
The Godskitchen Fusion Cube is the only arena to be present on both days, and will feature the euphoric house and trance which has been at the heartbeat of the club since it’s inception in the late nineties, with GK favourites Ferry Corsten, Dash Berlin and Markus Schulz among the starlets.
