On Fri December 23rd youre in for a trance-tastic treat as Goodgreef teams up with John O' Callaghan & Subculture to kick-start the festivities just in time for Christmas. After last Decembers epic sell out seeing Digital packed to the rafters after only 1-hour of opening the doors, they return with another Christmas cracker packed full of cutting-edge names in the scene.

Headed by the Irish charm of trance, DJ/producer John OCallaghan; Subculture is one of the UKs fastest growing brands, which has seen JOC present his take on the trance scene through his Subculture radio show. This has presented a crystal-clear monthly snapshot of his in-and-out of club sound, exploring the outer reaches of electronic music.

The huge success of the show has taken Subculture to new heights with a captivating compilation series, Subculture label launch in cooperation with Armada, and also the birth of its own branded events. This will be Subcultures second visit to North East turf, bringing yet another finely tailored bill of musical finesse that will most definitely fill your stocking in time for Christmas!

Headlining this Christmas cracker is the main man himself John OCallaghan; an artist firmly established in the A-list of the trance elite and needing little introduction. Joining him are a duo tipped as the rising stars of trance by Armin van Buuren; young Dutch DJ/producers W & W. A chance meeting at Trance Energy 2007 has, in just under 3-years solidified these guys into one of the freshest, most exciting electronic dance acts on the scene. With it has also come a multifarious trance sound that, globally, has begun to shatter underground clubs, arenas and festivals!

Also gracing the stage will be young London based DJ/producer Mat Zo. Having worked his way up the ranks remixing for the likes of Andy Moor, Markus Schulz and Tiesto; Mat has quickly become one of the most sought after progressive dance music producers in history. In the past couple of years Mats fearsome reputation has grown with the release of a swathe of stunning productions, which have received support from some of the biggest names around the world, including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and the Swedish House Mafia.

Finally, putting the finishing touches to this trance-tastic trio is Irish duo and Subculture signed DJ/producers - Full Tilt, along with Armanda and Subculture DJ/producer - Chris Metcalfe.

Taking over room two will be the Future Floor Fillers presenting the best up-and-coming local talent featuring Gary Proud; Phil Mackintosh; Digi-Funk DJs; Craig Lucas; Chris Hutchinson; and TeKRM. Finally, room three will be play host to the house party featuring Mick Linsay b2b Dan Hawkins, Ryan Toal, Nick Hampton, Si Whelan, plus more.

So kick-start Christmas weekend with some trance in your pants, as Goodgreef meets Subculture for a Christmas party that will most definitely have you rocking around the Christmas tree!
