When Richard and Carol, aka Richie Vinyl and DJ Batty, first met on their way to an illegal warehouse party in  London back in 1987, the thought of being married, DJing together and living in Manchester was as unlikely as Vick's Vapour Rub actually making any difference to the 'dance floor experience'.

Twenty-seven years, countless raves, festivals, weekenders, club nights and several tons of vinyl later, this husband and wife DJ team have started a new club night, Supernature, at The Whiskey Jar in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Playing an all vinyl set of disco and early house crafted from their vast collection, the club night is enhanced by LED lights and video mapping from visual artist Atipyka to bring out the disco dancer and house aficionado in the classy crowd spanning all ages.
Supernature brings together a whole range of music influences, attitudes and genuine love for Manchester to bring you uplifting, joyous disco and euphoric house that's impossible to ignore.
