As summertime blooms the unstoppable, award winning tidal wave a club night currently sweeping the nation that is Filth. The DJ Mag acclaimed Northern House Phenomenon and Galaxys Best New Night award winner trucks on with its prized residency at Leeds Mint club on Saturday May 9th. With recent industry backing from leading music magazines things are looking good for Filth. If its pigeon holing the music policy at Filth is on the cards you may have difficulty other than to describe it as anything other than the sort of music that makes you want to call your boss and tell them youre not coming back to work on Monday. Joining the residents will be Panoramabar resident Oliver $ over from Berlin.
Never one to overlook new and upcoming talent, Filths latest DJ to be crowned resident Lee Mortimer, is a name that has been monopolizing journalist notepads and DJ record boxes for the past year. The London DJ/Producer/Record Label Owner makes his second appearance at Filth after joining the already star studded team. His fidget fuelled sets have been causing such a stir that Ministry of Sound have also recently snapped him up as resident.
Joining Lee will be Berlin based DJ/Producer Oliver $. Its clear to see that his DJ performances and productions have secured his place with Jesse Roses Made to Play brand which includes a residency at DJ Mags best club in the world, Panoramabar in his native Berlin. As well as this last year Rose made him his assistant engineer, a post which any producer would be elated with. His tracks have set their places in some of the worlds hottest record boxes regularly being thrashed by the likes of Jess Rose and Switch which pretty much explains his place of the latest Filth line-up!
Other Filth family members to practise their family values include Eddi Zanetti, and resident/promoter Danny Savage making sure the Function 1 sound system at the Mint is hot n heated throughout.
