Live music returns to Salford in May as local promoters Fat Out and Partisan Collective present a series of five socially distanced and limited capacity shows at Unit 2 Regent Trading Estate.

Beginning on Thursday 27th May, the series includes live sets from rapper and multi-instrumentalist Algernon Cornelius, violinist and loop pedal artist Rebekah Reid, Manchester-misfits-collective Yossarians and ambient grime vocalist Iceboy Violet, plus DJ sets from Hesska and All Hands on Deck.

There are special performances from Pretty Grim, premiering the result of their recent residency at Islington Mill, and Lone Taxidermist, exploring the dialect and ceremonies of West Cumbria in her latest show ?Marra!?, whilst Queer Family Tea and Fatty Acid unite for a night of cabaret and performance art.

As the newest residents of Salford?s leading cross-disciplinary arts space Islington Mill, these will be the first ever events for Partisan Collective at Regent Trading Estate, whilst Fat Out has been putting on events as part of the Mill?s creative community since 2010. The series is produced in partnership with Soundhaus and Islington Mill and has been made possible by Arts Council Cultural Recovery Funding.

All shows will take place at Unit 2, Regents Trading Estate in Salford, which can be found behind Islington Mill and accessed via Oldfield Road. Unit 2 is fully wheelchair accessible with accessible welfare facilities. To ensure the safety of the audience, artists and staff all events will be socially distanced and seated and COVID-safe measures will be in place.
