It’s not quite here yet, but rest assured Autumn is on its way. Falling leaves, kids going back to school and that inevitable drop in temperature. All hallmarks of the drift from Summer to Winter, as is one other thing – the kick into action of the rave season.

Clubland doesn’t exactly shut down over the summer, our what’s on guide is testament to the wealth of options still going, but it does go into a minor state of hibernation. So September isn’t all mournful and sorrow focused, particularly with news filtering about Canal Mills picking up where they left off with a stunning opening programme.

It all swings into focus on the final weekend of September, Friday 27th seeing a party with Resident Advisor boasting Four Tet, Oneman, Prins Thomas and many more. Things don’t get any slower the following evening, when headlines duties are hogged by alliterative siblings Heidi and Huxely, with FCL playing live and Hot Creations Richy Ahmed also in amongst the selectors.

All will be combining to ensure that the absence of the club, since Mr Scruff played back in May, is reassuringly assuaged quickly.
