Following the sad confirmation last week that human remains found near Bristol were that of missing DJ Derek, the BBC has made a documentary on the local legend available to view as a tribute.

DJ Derek, otherwise known as Derek Serpell Morris, was celebrated as Britain's oldest DJ and enjoyed a successful career playing reggae and ska around Bristol. He also played Glastonbury and The Big Chill.

Derek went missing in July 2015, leading to a nationwide search led by family and fans, but unfortunately remains were discovered close to Cribbs Causeway shopping centre in Patchway with subsequent DNA tests confirming they were those of the DJ.
