For their penultimate event of 2011, Chibuku serves up a tasty slice of aural goodness featuring Annie Mac, Subfocus, Riton (Carte Blanche) and more.

The last few weeks have seen a stunning run from Chibuku that's brought everyone from Jacques lu Cont to Modeselektor, to Nero, 2manydjs and Skream down to The Masque.

As ever the Chibuku template remains resolutely simple – three rooms of eclectic music sourced from some of the world’s best DJs and live acts, condensed into The Masque at what is one of the best parties in the land. November’s 2nd instalment sees the club upping the ante again, welcoming in Chibuku favourite Annie Mac, Carte Blanche's Riton, Liverpool's own Subfocus, drum n bass legend Sir David Rodigan, Rinse mixer Roska and many more.

A now true Chibuku legend and figurehead of the airwaves on Radio 1, Annie returns to the club for another rousing set to show why she is one of the most talented spinners on offer. From fronting her own show every Friday to continually championing the next wave of new sounds, the mercurial Annie has had an amazing 2011 so it’s only fitting really she sees out November for Buku; she’s always guaranteed to bring the roof down in The Theatre.

Annie’s supported by another UK star, Riton, who has evolved across the electronic scene during the last decade, from Manchester’s Fat City Records to his more recent and seminal work as Carte Blanche with the very sadly passed away DJ Medhi. Expect some epoch-breaking sounds from this inspired DJ and producer. Chibuku’s own James Rand gets The Theatre stoked up.

Up in The Loft, get ready to batten down the hatches. Originally hailing from Liverpool, special guest Subfocus is a self-taught producer who began producing music on his PC at age 13 and attained his revered know-how from software manuals. After catching the attention of RAM Records’ Andy C, he has never looked back, and is now a lynchpin of the UK’s thriving drum and bass scene. The last time Chibuku had Sir David Rodigan at the club, he had everyone going wild for his reggae, dancehall and smatterings of ska. A venerable gent who has literally been there, done it and bought the t-shirt, Sir David brings a touch of gravitas to the city. Support comes from Eat Your Greens’ Jonas.

Having recently mixed Rinse’s 15th instalment, cramming 25 tracks into one joyous excursion of drum and bass and garage sounds, Roska exudes years of experience having from helped shape the UK Funky scene to crafting elements of house and techno for the dubstep generation. Fellow label ally DJ Monki will be showing why she is one a hotly-tipped spinner, and Chibuku’s own Rich Furness caps what is a rather tasty 3-roomed party.
