Animal Collective's Josh Dibb, aka Deakin, will release his solo album on April 8th, seven years after originally beginning the project in 2009.
The long-delayed Sleep Cycle will be released through all streaming platforms and digital retailers this Friday and will also be available to buy on cassette. Deakin also shared the video for 'Just Am' (watch below).
The album has benefited from crowd-funding and all those who donated will be rewarded with bonus tracks, posters art books and exclusive videos.
Deakin apologised for the long wait for Sleep Cycle saying it was "due to personal and professional issues". He also confirmed that former Spacemen 3 member Pete Kember (aka Sonic Boom) was involved in the recording.
Animal Collective play Manchester on Wednesday April 13th and Liverpool on Saturday September 3rd.
