After bursting onto the scene with the wickedly leftfield, ghetto fueled 'Kings and Them' extended player back in 2012, Evian Christ has in the last few weeks further bolstered his status in the discerning underground.

Once again returning to the Tri Angle label, Evian's 'Waterfall EP' (listen to the title track above) has seen him continue purveying mesmerizing atmospheric set pieces, with added touches of distorted tough techno, produced with a grime swagger that has seen him lauded right across the spectrum.

With his self curated 'Trance Party' at London's Oval Space seeing him deftly unleash a swathe of material ranging from slomo dancehall to dubstep (check out the depth charge that is 'Salt Carousel' below), trap to IDM, juke to modern classical, we're in for another genre bending treat as he arrives The Shipping Forecast on May 4th. This is a great chance to see the GIT Award nominee in at his irreverent best.
