The next time that you are considering a mini-break in Wales I hope that you will book into the delightful guest house named Pantygysfarnog on the outskirts of the village of Llangynog two miles from Banc y felin. Near to Pembrokeshire Carmarthenshire and all west wales has to offer. As you look out over the beautiful Welsh countryside you will see the lush green rolling hills of South Wales. The county town of Carmarthen is a mere five miles away and many other places of historical importance are within easy reach. Pantygysfarnog is owned and run by Georgina. This guest house was started in September 2015 and immediately voted as outstanding for comfort cleanliness and above average attention to detail. The hostess is a charming and easy going lady who always has the comfort of her guests uppermost in her mind. The guest house has been newly refurbished to the highest standards. The guest rooms are fitted out with the latest innovations for your comfort. You may have a long perfumed bath and dry your hair while watching the TV fitted as standard in every room. Computer buffs will find USB ports for charging phones and laptops etc. The rooms have beds with the best comfortable mattresses and pillows. No expense has been spared to add to your comfort. All this would be superfluous if there were rigid rules but guests may book in at their leisure. There are three guest bed rooms all with lounging areas. The whole complex is surrounded by a free car park and eleven acres of fields nearby. You may see horses foals and the occasional donkey come to visit you. This is a veritable nature lovers paradise. There are two streams and ample opportunity for bird watchers. You may even see an especially rare specimen of bird to make your holiday complete. The beautiful hills are the home to many a species of wildlife. As you walk through this carefree land with the children running around you will be in a different world and that is the intention. Venture a few miles to Llanstephan and walk along the sandy beach and wonder at the opposite bay where Dylan Thomas s boathouse can be clearly seen. When you do come back to earth with a bump you will find that the village of Banc y Felin has a post office and a village store as well as the Fox and Hounds which serves the usual fare but also the most delicious Thai food is at the nearby village of Llanybri in the village pub The Farmers Arms.
