p The what , where , and how /p p With its brand-new name and extravagant makeover, the Principal Manchester (previously The Palace) is a real sight for sore eyes. Every inch of it is strikingly grand, with an A recipe of original Victorian architecture and trendy timeless pieces. And the cherry on top It s right in the city of Manchester. Positively smothered with shops, bars, restaurants, theatres (the Palace Theatre is right next door), culture, history and more. You can practically step off the train at Oxford Road station into your hotel, it s that close. If you need the airport then it s just over a 20-minute drive away. /p p This hotel s great because /p p With its recent refurb, it s all shiny spanking new and you ll feel the love surrounding you. They ve done an excellent job (a gold star to the designers!) and have the facilities to match. The team are wedding and event connoisseurs, meaning you can put your trust in them no matter what the occasion. There s a florist inside (in case you ve forgotten that all important anniversary, eek), there s the Refuge Bar and Dining Room which serves up unforgettable food and drinks, and there s even a Winter Garden giving an indoor alfresco feel. /p p The room chronicles /p p Rooms here are elegant, graceful and timeless. They re draped in carefully selected fabrics and colours intensifying that feeling of calm and peace. All rooms include free Wi-Fi, a big flat screen TV and more. While upgraded rooms include added extras to get your heart flipping. /p p In a nutshell: Fit for a king /p
