There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Shy Cookie is best known for production work, The House & Garage Orchestra as well as for working with MOBO Award Winners DJ Luck, MC Neat. Shy Cookie has been producing hit UK Garage music since 1998 (debuting with a remix of ‘El Paradiso Rico’ - released as a DJ Luck and MC Neat track). After enjoying some success with his debut he released the UK Garage hits ‘Troublesome’, ‘Poison’ and ‘Burning’ on Kronik Records before moving to Middlerow records in 1999.
After producing two of the four tracks that made up the ‘Warm Up E.P.’ a 4 track promo for an unreleased album, and the single ‘Boom Tune’ for Middlerow/EMI records he went on to co-produce DJ Luck and Neats album ‘It’s all good’, released on Island records in 2002 including the hit ‘Irie’.
Shy Cookie stopped releasing music in 2004, but returned fully in 2013/14 with a focus of establishing himself as more than just a ghost producer and ‘underground DJ’.
The production company A.I was set up with business partner Ishmael Hamilton so Shy could launch himself as an independent producer/engineer.
In 2014 Shy Cookie then went on to co-found and produce The House & Garage Orchestra (THGO). Since 2018, he has completed two sold out UK tours with the orchestra including Roundhouse in 2020, and is looking forward to the next show (pandemic permitting) at Wembley arena in 2021. Not only is he Co-founder of THGO, he is the official host and DJ, responsible for the creative direction and show production.
