Bowlers has long since established itself as the premium venue for large scale hedonist hoedowns, and with Fantazia curating five arenas of premium DJS, artists and MCs, New Year's Eve is pretty much sown up for these behemoths of the rave business.
Fantazia, now in its 24th year of operations, has in its illustrious past been responsible for some of the most incendiary large scale raves this country has ever seen. Just check out this monolithic rave from back in 1992 to whet your appetite for NYE.
In the many years that Fantazia has been at the top of their game, it has garnered for itself an iconic status amongst lovers of the original rave aesthetic. Fans of old skool, piano house, jungle and drum n bass know that Fantazia is the go-to party instigator for the classic, timeless rave experience.
For its hotly anticipated New Year's Eve party, Fantazia has hooked in some of the biggest names to have ever stepped up the a pair of decks. Manchester icons Stu Allan and Mark XTC are lined up to go back to back in the Fantazia and Back By Dope demand arena, alongside live sets from piano house genius Davos (check out his serious skills below), 2 Bad Mice, and New Atlantic. DJ Sy will go back to back with VinylJunkie for the pivitol midnight set - expect musical fire to be stoked as Fantazia plunge headfirst into 2014.
Davos Live @ Distrikt Bar
Elsewhere the Totally Lost it and Uprising arena will star the likes of Recon, Gammer and Huxxy, whilst drum n bass stalwart Nicky Blackmarket, Jumping Jack Frost, and Energy & Stixman head up the Legends of drum n bass arena. For its NYE extravaganza, fantazia branch out into tough old skool techno with Dutch maestro Drokz, Death Throw's Scorpio, and Andy Vortex providing an ear splitting high tempo techno work out for the hardcore among us.
Fantazia have nailed the ultimate old skool line up once again, going all out to fill your New Year's Eve with the very finest in old skool, full throttle, throwback destruction. It's going to be messy.
