There's so many amazing festivals out there but it can be difficult to work out which festivals you're going to attend. There's so many things to take into consideration - the location of the festival, the size of the festival, the genre of music, whether it's family friendly and the type of facilities onsite.
Skiddle's new Festivals Finder is here to make the process that bit easier. Simply use the Festivals Finder's unique festival search, which include options allowing you to search for festivals based on filters such as location; month; genres; type; size; accommodation; amenities and even the artists you've liked on Facebook!
Recently signed by former Oasis boss Alan McGee from Creation23 Records, this 7-piece indie band boast an epic sound made up of a range of guitars, percussion and vocals and are considered one of the brightest lights in the current Brit Pop and Indie 90’s scene.
Having built a strong reputation up and down the UK supporting major acts such as; The Farm, Reverend and the Makers, The Wonder Stuff, Shed Seven and many more, Marquis Drive released their first single “Movin’ On’” in August last year to much acclaim - with over 140,000 streams to date on Spotify alone. They have a truly loyal set of fans, who continue to grow in number all over the country, and have done a number of high profile performances at summer festivals and venues.
The past 6 months have been somewhat of a whirlwind for the band after being signed by such a prestigious record label; accepting 3 clothing endorsements, and releasing two singles “Unite “ & “Shine On”, with more releases planned this year. The hard working Marquis Drive are definitely earning their reputation amongst the masses as Indie’s worst-kept secret.
