The Wickerman Festival has another bumper set of announcements to make to an already bulging line-up today. The first revolves around disco evangelists and our artist of the week Chic, who join Primal Scream and Amy Macdonald as headliners this year. Expect them to run through their glorious back catalogue including ‘I want your love’, ‘Everybody Dance’ and ‘Le Freak’ as part of a performance which will be bringing the good times (sorry) for the festival-goers in Scotland in July.

Also on the disco tip will be legendary DJ Greg Wilson, who will be headlining our arena on Saturday night. A pillar of the UK music scene, Greg was the first ever DJ to mix live on UK television back in 1983 and his signature style of feel good music, all edited and spliced in his own identity, makes for one of the most delightful experiences going. Check his still classic Essential Mix from 2009 as proof of the pudding.

The other new additions include Admiral Fellow, Dreadzone and the Waylayers, and we’ll be speaking to many of these and the other stars of the festival over the next few weeks.
