Did someone say Indian Summer? Things are hotting up again everywhere you look, and that means a litany of top notch events once again hand picked for your inbox.

Clubs

The Cream Birthday looks huge (read our interview with Cream legend Paul Oakenfold), and if you fancy going to the Laidback Luke show they're doing with Composit for free, head to our Facebook comp. Also Liverpool based, Circus' annual Halloween party is predictably brilliant - don't sleep, their Birthday sold out in less than a day.

Elsewhere Annie Mac returns to the Rainbow Venues in Birmingham, Dave Clarke is playing in a disused mine shaft, deep house sensation Bakermat is in Edinburgh, whilst both Hot Since 82 and Bondax have prolonged tours ahead. If you're still thinking of Ibiza, and of course you should be, then read our interview with one of the stars of the season, Sidney Charles

Live Music

Liverpool Music week is drawing ever nearer, with the likes of CHRVCHES and Caribou to look forward to. Happy Mondays will play live in London as a special Hacienda show, with D&B heroes Kosheen off on a live tour, and eighties funk troupe SOS Band doing the same.

We've also been having a bit of a boogie to the Tea Street Band LP, and are looking forward to the Horrors playing records instead of singing them in Manchester.

Festivals

I'm not joking, festivals really are almost over for the year, so sort out your final forage via our Festival Finder or give up the dancing in the mud dream. We spoke with two electronic music legends ahead of their final UK festival shows, Goldie being particularly madcap prior to Mint Festival, and Dave Seaman regaling his Burning Man experiences ahead of the EH1 Festival (listen to his recent Skiddle mix above).

That's me out, I'm off to salivate over the new Kendrick Lamar and Flying Lotus collaboration.
