The concept is simple. Team two established DJs up in an unlikely partnership, and set them loose together on the decks for eight hours.

The SIDEXSIDE series kicked off last weekend, when Horse Meat Disco and Danny Krivit teamed up for an all night DJ set at Factory 7, colliding and combining for an 8 hour disco laced journey through New York's golden years.

This weekend sees not one but two SIDEXSIDE events take place, creating more non-traditional yet no doubt highly inspiring partnerships in two East London warehouse spaces.

Friday night will see San Francisco's Dirty Bird Justin Martin team up with Bristol's Redlight at Crucifix Lane, for what must surely be the most diverse pairing of the series.

The series continues on Saturday at Village Underground, when fresh new thang Nina Kraviz pits her unique blend of house, techno, acid and rare groove against Detroit producer DJ Stingray's 20 years of experience.

Both events are sure to be memorable, unique and inspiring - but tickets are selling fast so don't wait around.
