Soulwax has announced new album All Systems Are Lying will be released on Friday 17th October 2025.
The album, built entirely on modular synths, live drums, tape machines, and processed vocals, will be released via DEEWEE - their label - and Because Music. Two tracks off the album, 'Run Free' and 'All Systems Are Lying' were released today (Wed 9th July).
All Systems Are Lying has been described as an album where "you can really hear the 2manydjs angle, a touch of Ibiza and a post punk electronic funk edge. Immense." Soulwax DJ together under the 2manydjs name.
A press release on the album goes on to say, "[All Systems Are Lying is] a fractured mirror held up to modern society on the brink – where truth is distorted by filters, algorithms and noise.”
About the album, Soulwax described it as “live, loud and loose”, while saying, "We wanted to capture the feeling of a band playing electronic instruments".
All Systems Are Lying will feature 14 tracks, including the already released double A-side lead single 'Run Free' and 'All Systems Are Lying'.
The album will be the Belgian brothers' first album since 2018's Essential. Since their last album, the duo has been busy remixing tracks by the likes of Marie Davidson, Oliver Sim, Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C, and Robyn.
So far this year, the duo have performed at Kappa Futur in Italy and Rock Werchter in Belgium. On Sunday 27th July, Soulwax will perform at Junction 2 in London.
The dance-punk band has been active since 1995, and has released six studio albums to date, plus remix and compilation albums.
