A new era for Leeds nightlife is emerging beneath the city's original Victorian railway arches. Under The Arches - a striking new 1000-capacity underground venue - officially opens its doors this September, promising raw industrial energy, top-tier production and a Funktion One sound system to boot.

Brought to you by Arrival, the team behind fellow Leeds rave spot TESTBED, the space fuses warehouse grit with creative lighting design, all centred around one expansive main arch that becomes the dancefloor’s beating heart.

Located at 168 Lower Briggate in the heart of Leeds, Under The Arches aims to fill a crucial gap for the city’s underground scene, giving promoters and ravers a fresh late-night haven with true character. By day, it opens up into a sun-soaked, open-air terrace for daytime sessions and outdoor brand takeovers; by night, it transforms into a low-ceilinged rave bunker built for all-night DJ sets and specialist programming.

As Arrival Events put it on Instagram: “You know we like using unique locations and it doesn’t get anymore special than raving under original Victorian railway arches.

Raw, underground and rarely found in city centres, until now. DJs love it, ravers seriously love it.”
