One of the most prominent artists in UK indie, Peter Doherty has been confirmed to headline the Saturday night of Blackthorn Festival in Stockport.
He joins the likes of Peter Hook & The Light, We are Scientists and The Bluetones, between Friday 21st and Sunday 23rd July, as well as a host of up and coming bands, including Stillia, Proletariat and The Blinders.
Taking over Whitebottom Farm, in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Blackthorn Festival also boasts a huge selection of refreshment stalls from local vendors, all testament to nearby Manchester's thriving food scene.
