Manchester comedy festival reveals first names on 2026 lineup

Manchester comedy festival A Lovely Weekend has revealed some of the comedians on this year’s lineup.

Created by production company A Lovely Time, A Lovely Weekend returns to Fairfield Social Club from 29th to 31st May 2026.

The event promises three days of the best new comedy shows from a lineup of names you'll recognise from TV, internet favourites, hot up-and-comers, and bigger names.

Among those announced in the festival’s recent lineup reveal are Harriet Kemsley of Last One Laughing, viral stand-up comic Tom Lawrinson, Mark Silcox of the BBC's Man Like Mobeen, and the first live show of Sean McLoughlin’s podcast, The Sean McTalk Show.

Also joining are stand-up comic Josh Pugh, UK SNL cast member Larry Dean, and France’s Celya AB. 

More names are still to be announced. 

Weekend tickets for the festival have already nearly sold out. Day passes for Saturday and Sunday are also available. You can also get tickets for specific shows.
