2013 was the year Gorgon City grabbed the attention of many, and just shy of five months deep into 2014 the bass music duo have continued their arc with even greater velocity. Their glistening deep house monster with MNEK 'Ready for your love' hit number four in the UK singles chart whilst follow up 'Here for you' (check it out here) is looking to head for a similar territory when it is released in June.
Before that though the duo have been heading on tour around the nation, showcasing their rough and ready collision of house and bass music that was kick-started at Electric Brixton on the 26th of April. Hear some of that in their deep house mix for DJ Mag above.
They head to The Warehouse in Leeds on Saturday 17th May for the latest slab of the tour, where Swiss deep techno don Deetron joins alongside the experimental grooves of Eliphino and Anushka. Expect an absolute barnstomer from the current darlings of British dance music. Head here for tickets.
