Live music is the dog's bollocks. But the whole ballache of packing your hat, wellies, sunglasses, waterproof coat and sun cream can be a bit of a drag. You’re at a festival to have a good time, not fret about the weather.
And despite what some think, we’d argue that hanging around your tent can get a bit boring. If you don’t bring a foldable camping chair, you end up with dead legs and an achy arse from sitting on the cold, unforgiving, rock hard ground too long. Wouldn’t it be better if you could be comfy and enjoy lovely weather in between checking out your favourite artists? What you need is a festival on a beach.
From Europe to the US and everything in between, there are plenty of beach music festivals to choose from, no matter what your vibe. So here are the best beach festivals that are definitely worth checking out in 2022.
The world's biggest hip hop festival is finally landing in Europe and, even better, it’s going to be on the stunning Praia da Rocha beach in Portugal. With three huge headliners and other rising stars such as Jack Harlow, Rico Nasty, AJ Tracey, Flo Milli, and Central Cee, it’s definitely going to go off. After two COVID related postponements, those with tickets are probably dying for this festival to kick off, which will likely result in a wild crowd that gives it their all.
