An online auction raising funds for those affected by the ongoing conflict in Sudan has been launched, bringing together musicians, creatives and brands offering a range of one-of-a-kind items and experiences, going to the highest bidder.
Set up by Freedom For Sudan, and featuring offerings from artists such as SZA, Kelala, PinkPantheress, Central Cee, Olivia Rodrigo, Dave, and more, the fundraiser sees all proceeds go directly to Sudanese non-profits providing essential food, medical aid and humanitarian support, with the auction running from 6th – 12th January.
Bidding is now live, with 19 lots currently available. Find them all on the Freedom For Sudan auction site - HERE
Among the items and experiences up for auction are signed records, including Dave's The Boy Who Played The Harp, Olivia Rodrigo's Guts, a signed 'suprise' vinyl and custom mixtape CD from MIKE, a curated playlist and two signed vinyls from Kelala, and even a music feedback session and signed vinyl bundle from KeiyaA.
Artwork is also up for grabs, including an original one-of-one piece from British-Nigerian designer Slawn, and a portrait of you by PinkPantheress. There are exclusive tickets too, with premium VIP tickets to any The Weeknd show, a meet-and-greet and VIP tickets with Central Cee, and a chance to 'hang out' with SZA (who is also auctioning a signed merch bundle), all available. Plus, there are also once-in-a-lifetime opportunities like a creative mentoring session with multi-award-winning filmmaker and creative director Akinola Davis Jr up for grabs.
Elsewhere, rare unreleased clothing, including an exclusive Off-White bag by IB Kamara, a full outfit and bag from an unreleased Telfar collection, and a £5 Nike Raffle, are available. Plus fun experiences like things like a private meal for two from Sudanese Kitchen, and a free night out at Jazz Cafe for a show of your choice.
All funds from all of these auctions will contribute to Freedom For Sudan’s mission to support communities affected by the crisis and aid efforts focused on long-term recovery and civilian-led rebuilding. More information on the fundraiser and a full list of available lots can be found via Freedom For Sudan’s auction platform.
