Leeds' premier house night has become renowned for booking some of the biggest stars of house music. Just this last year has seen Hard Times host the likes of Norman Jay, Joey Negro, Terry Hunter, CJ Mackintosh and the one and only Kerri Chandler. Needless to say the Hard Times crew are house music connoisseurs, and they’re line ups continue to be outstanding.

With Hard Times 20th birthday party taking place on 25th August 2013, the Leeds Warehouse will welcome the legend of New York House music - Todd Terry.

Since the late 80’s, Todd Terry has been involved with pushing forward the boundaries of house music. Debuting as part of Masters at Work courtesy of Kenny Dope and Louie Vega, Todd Terry set about producing and releasing some of the most important, seminal house tracks that have shaped the face of the modern sound.

With tracks like 'Keep on Jumpin' and 'Something Goin On', Todd Terry has worked with a number of vocalists to gain both commercial success as well as remaining a figurehead of the underground. Always the innovator, Todd Terry even released tunes using the drum n bass template on Astralwerks records to great success.

But it’s his work with house music that has seen him become one of the scene’s leading lights, developing a sound that remains uniquely his by marrying hip hop, disco, and soul influences with a thumping four to the floor backbone that's been sending dancefloors crazy for years now.
