Huge headliners announced for Download Festival

The team behind Download Festival have confirmed that the first headliner to be confirmed for next year's instalment is none other than rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, with US metal veterans Avenged Sevenfold also announced.

Having been in arguably the most influential metal band the country has ever produced, Black Sabbath, Ozzy has also had a successful solo career and even his own reality TV show.

Taking place between Friday 8th June - Sunday 10th June 2018 at its usual home of Donington Park, the huge hard rock party is the UK's biggest festival for the genre and has seen similar huge names grace the stage in previous years.

With last year's billing including the likes of System Of A Down, Biffy Clyro and Aerosmith, Download Festival 2018 lineup is guaranteed to be equally as monstrous, with more names expected very soon.
