Wolves formed just over a year ago after a chance encounter at T in the Park between two groups of friends, with a shared passion of anthemic rock and roll.

The band have gigged relentlessly since and have gained a fervent following and shared the stage with the likes of Cast.

While filming scenes for their debut single 'Animal' on the Forth Road Bridge police arrived and closed the bridge down. Frontman Jim said "It was all a bit surreal. The Police had received reports from members of the public of someone on the bridge. Granted it was at 2am, so the bridge was closed off and the video shoot was stopped in a hail of sirens. The police were great with us and allowed us to finish the filming."

Before the band release their single they join The Sunshine Underground (listen to the band above) for a stripped back acoustic show at the Voodoo Rooms in Edinburgh on Friday 11th March.

With a wry smile the frontman said about the show: "There is nothing better than supporting a band who deliver, this is why we do what we do, to share stages with superb acts. The Sunshine Underground will bring the sunshine we'll bring the moonlight and we will blame it on Michael Jackson."
